IP PBX is a telephone system that combines the technology of landline telephone systems and voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) which can support text, video, and audio communication. IP PBX is a telephone system used over the Internet, so you can use the phone from anywhere that has access to the Internet. This helps save on telephone bills, especially international calls because the calls are made over the Internet in VoIP. Currently, IP PBX is available in two types, premise-based and cloud-based.
IP PBX is compatible with IP Phone devices and softphone software installed on a computer, which must be used with a microphone and headphones.
Cloud IP PBX will charge a monthly fee based on number of users or as agreed. Users do not have to bear the cost of system installation, but service providers will offer low rates that is suitable for organizations with a small number of users. The Cloud IP PBX system is as in the picture.
IP PBX Premise-based will cost more than Cloud IP PBX because it has system equipment such as server, switching, gateway and software. On the other hand, it will be more cost effective if there are many users in the long run. IP PBX Premise-based is as picture 2
